New Perspective

I finally got me some real glass.

I’ve long had my eye on a real camera. The iPhone’s fine, but with all the travel I’ve been doing, having a legit changeable lens camera is kind of essential. I settled on a Fujifilm XT-20. It’s a lightweight mirrorless job. Perhaps not the powerhouse a Canon or Nikon DSLR would be, but everything I read suggests that Fuji makes some excellent lenses.

So maybe you’ll see a marked improvement in the photos here. Or not. I really don’t know the first thing about photography. But perhaps a bona fide camera camera will afford a bit larger margin of error. And just in time. I’ve got a pretty exciting trip to Indonesia coming up.
