Coron

Well, it wasn’t easy, but I’ve arrived in Coron where I’ll be for a bit during China’s National Week.

I’m at a place called Sangat Island Dive Resort, and to say it’s “remote” would be a grave disservice to the English language. Still, despite the rather stormy weather this place is just the escape I was looking for. If there was ever a place to totally check out and get SCUBA certified at the same time, this is it. And so what if it’s sprinkling a bit. As my brother said before I left, “It doesn’t rain underwater.”
