The Chocolate Hills

Travelers are drawn to Bohol by the Chocolate Hills.

From a crowded viewing deck, the famed round hills can be seen everywhere in every direction, emerging from the earth like bubbles in a bath. It’s a good metaphor really. Up close they feel as playful as bubbles. You want to reach out and touch them. But they’re out of reach and you’re left wondering if they’re hard like stone or as spongey and soft as they seem.
